This is really annoying because I want to unlock the green stars and I literally need this last star to do so. I also tried switching to emulated controls when I was about to enter the crash zone, and it doesn't work. Knowing this, I don't think it's a hardware issue, especially since I have an i7 6700, 8 gb of RAM and a AMD RX 480. I've tried slowing the game down, lowering the resolution, and even pausing right before I enter the crashing zone. The thing that is weird is that I can go through this area just fine in the first star, but not during the race on the 2nd star. Near the end, right before you get in the area where there are just space ships and the ring you must go through to win. To be precise, it crashes around when you're about to go under the giant gate thing that is slowly closing down. I've got every 119 other normal stars and I just can't get the one that is in the fleet glide galaxy (the 2nd star: "Fastest feathers in the Galaxy"). So I play super mario galaxy 2 on the dolphin emulator, and there is this 1 level which keeps crashing at roughly the same area everytime.
